Website Design

WHAT WE DID: ElderHealth & Living is assisted living facility for people living with memory loss. They came to us with a severely outdated website and a desire to harness the power of social media and blogging to start using the web much more proactively. They also requested that we keep in mind the clientele they serve: Mostly middle-aged caregivers and the elderly. We designed and built a Thesis-based website that is beautiful in its simplicity. We kept type large and calls to action obvious, specifically for clients who might not be very web savvy. We set up a job management system and left them with a site that will allow them to manage content in-house.

We set up a font-size option for visitors who might need larger type.

We built a clean, well-organized testimonials page.

Logo Design

WHAT WE DID: United Resources is providing a service that is sorely needed in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands: Waste oil management. The company is built specifically on a desire to be sustainable and help their clients do the same. They wanted a logo that was friendly and approachable, but still solid enough to indicate their professionalism and desire to do the job right the first time. The result is a brand mark with enough rigidity to do the latter, but just enough soft edges and personality to do the former.

Logo Design

WHAT WE DID: Rumi Design is an up and coming, eco-friendly interior design firm that aims to educate their clients about why creating beautiful can improve their quality of life. They specifically requested an orchid in their logo. Rather than creating a photo-realistic flower, I instead went with a more abstract approach, with a modern chair forming the inside of the flower.
